A St Catharines man was one of two men charged yesterday (October 14) after Niagara Police found a large stash of drugs and cash after a traffic stop.

While the police have been investigating the local man since September, when they pulled him over yesterday at 6:30 pm in the Arran Drive and Everton Court area, they found enough drugs and cash to get a search warrant for his house.

Searching his home in the Academy Street and King Street area, police found even more drugs, cash and stolen goods.

Police have charged Piotr Zawadzki, 33, of St. Catharines with three separate counts of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, separate counts of cash from crimes both over and under $5,000, failure to comply with probation and possession of a firearm.

Also charged was Shadrach A. Williams, 33, of Toronto with two counts of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and cash from crimes over $5,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905-688-4111, ext. 1002200.
