Found: St. Catharines man missing since last Friday

Update: Police have found Heise safe, according to an announcement posted shortly after 6 p.m. on Apr. 25.

Niagara Police are asking the public to be on the look-out for a 39-year-old St. Catharines man last seen on Friday (April 21) near his home in the Smythe St. and Oakdale Ave.

Heinz Heise is described as 5-foot-8, 220 pounds with blond hair. There is no available description of the clothing he was last seen wearing.

Police says Heise has close ties to Niagara Falls and St. Catharines and could be in either city.

Police has also provided a description of his vehicle as he is driving a navy-blue Nissan Rogue (Ontario licence plate BYMN130). Photo below.

The police and Heinz’s family are concerned for his welfare.  Anyone who may have information as to his location are asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009994.
