Does Baby Yoda have a St. Catharines library card because he was spotted at the Central Branch today?

Ah yes, May 4th – the day that launches thousands of “May the Fourth be with you” Star Wars greetings. If you’re on social media, they’re unavoidable.

Politicians, celebrities, everyday folks – everyone has a “May the 4th” post to share. Poor Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, must get inundated with them.

But when one goes a little above and beyond, they deserve full marks.

The St. Catharines Public Library got extremely creative this year with a 14 second video that shows Baby Yoda coming into the Central Branch (54 Church St.) and like many residents, settling in with a good (and familiar) book.

We won’t go farther than that so the surprise isn’t spoiled but here it is.
