Square One in Mississauga hosts its first Holiday Market for women

Square One Shopping Centre is hosting its first-ever female-owned holiday market this Christmas season.
Run the World Holiday Market, a collaboration of Square One and Run the World Summit, kicks off Nov. 26 and continues through Dec. 24 on Level 2, across from Coach. It features more than 35 vendors including Glow Away Skin, Bag and Bougie and Over the Luna, and is open to shoppers during mall hours.
Run the World Summit is a Canadian event series and career platform for ambitious women in business.
Organizers describe the event as a “one-stop pop-up shop for all your holiday gifts.”
“We are honoured to host Run the World at our annual Holiday Market at Square One Shopping Centre and offer our customers one-of-a-kind, locally-made products,” said Catherine Llagas, Square One’s specialty leasing manager. “This year’s collaboration offers a unique opportunity for our customers to engage with female-identifying businesses, take stunning photos with ‘Instagrammable’ backdrops and support local entrepreneurs.”
The holiday market also includes a gift-wrapping station for customers.

Organizers say that in order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the free event is compliant with Peel Health safety standards including sanitization stations and social distancing cues.
Other participating vendors include Daelen Fadelle Beauty, Girl Love Fund, HoneyLux Silk, KyKy’s Cookies, Shop Emie, Vanessa Vinces, You Are Your Home, Bunny Boutique, Elevate Candles, Lis the Label, Morfosoaps, ADAE Jewelry, Amalusta, Shop Cins Creations, Silk + Twine, Sitti Soap, Wildflo Studio, Amal’s Apothecary, 1day beauty, FARES, Kathymiranda, Love East Jewelry and Mama Susu’s.
