It’s time for kids to get back in the water as all nine splashpads in Burlington are now open.

Ready for the holiday weekend, the splashpads are located throughout the city and are free to use.

Splashpads will be open for the rest of this spring and throughout the summer months.

As well, as of June 3, the Nelson Pool at Splash Park (located at 4235 New St.) will open with select weekday morning and weekend opportunities until July 1 when daily programs begin.

LaSalle Wading Pool and Splash Park (50 North Shore Blvd.) will open on June 17 with modified hours of 12:30 to 4 p.m. until June 30. After that daily programming beings.

Ongoing revitalization will see Mountainside Pool and Splash Park (2205 Mount Forest Dr.) open later this year but is expected to be ready for the summer.

Updated swim schedules can be found at burlington.ca/dropinandplay.

“We have plenty of outdoor water play activities for kids and adults alike,” said Renee Kulinski-McCann, Manager of Recreation Services for the City of Burlington. “LaSalle and the splash pads are great options for smaller kids while the full-sized pools offer fun swims, lap swims and lessons for kids and adults. We’ve also got our four indoor pools open in the summer to give our community lots of options to stay cool and enjoy this summer.”
