Splash pads open in Burlington

Just in time for the long weekend, splash pads in Burlington are set to open.
All nine splash pads across the city will open tomorrow, May 18.
Splash pads are free to use and will remain open until the fall.
Here is a list of where the splash pads are located:
- Bolus Garden Parkette Splash Pad
- Brant Hills Park Splash Pad
- DesJardines Park Splash Pad
- Dofasco Waterjet Plaza
- Hidden Valley Park Splash Pad
- Ireland Park Splash Pad
- Millcroft Park Splash Pad
- Norton Community Park Splash Pad
- Orchard Community Park Splash Pad
Further outdoor pools in Burlington will be opening earlier this year in anticipation of a long, hot summer.
- Nelson Pool and Splash Park (4235 New St.) will open May 25.
- Mountainside Pool and Splash Park (2205 Mount Forest Dr.) will open June 8.
- LaSalle Wading Pool (50 North Shore Blvd.) will open June 15.
Burlington offers a modified drop-in swim schedule at outdoor facilities between May 25 and June 29, with summer schedules beginning June 29.
