It’s going to be a windy one in Brampton, Oakville, Mississauga, Hamilton and Milton.

A special weather statement is in effect for Brampton, Oakville, Mississauga, Hamilton and Milton today (March 1, 2021).

Strong winds are expected this afternoon and evening.

Strong west to northwesterly winds gusting up to 80 km/h will develop this afternoon and strong winds are expected to diminish this evening.

The strong winds may throw loose objects and cause tree branches to break and damage property.

Power outages are also possible.
