Lovers of South Indian cuisine, particularly dosas, now have a new place to get it in Mississauga.

Dosa Eatery recently opened a new location at 3221 Derry Rd W near Tenth Line.

The restaurant boasts a menu of authentic South Asian cuisine, specializing in dosas — a savoury crepe made from a fermented batter consisting of lentils and rice. Its main ingredients are rice and black gram, ground together in a smooth batter with a dash of salt, then fermented.

The menu features plain dosas, onion masala dosas, butter masala dosas, ghee roast masala dosas and more, as well as dishes like vada (a South Indian fried snack food) and uttapam, which is similar to a dosa but made to be thicker.

This is Dosa Eatery’s second location in Mississauga, with other locations in Brampton, Woodbridge, Waterloo and other cities in southern Ontario.
