One of Hamilton’s favourite spots for soups, sammies and salads is branching out yet again and opening a new location this week.

The Burnt Tongue will open the doors to its new location in downtown Dundas at 11 King St. W, on Friday (Dec. 3).

This will be the fourth location in the city for the Hamilton-born-and-raised eatery that got its start at the corner of James South and Cannon Street years ago.

“We’re so excited to start this new chapter and we couldn’t have done it without all your love and support,” the resto said via a social media post on Thursday announcing the opening.

The community’s love and support kept The Burnt Tongue humming along throughout the pandemic. The team quickly adapted to the situation by offering delivery and take-out options while still serving up those award-winning bowls of delicious comfort that have made them an indelible force in the Hamilton culinary scene.

In addition to a new storefront, The Burnt Tongue has also upped its virtual game by giving its website a total revamp to make it easier to access the menus at the various locations throughout Hamilton.

“A new location means a new menu to share and a completely new look to our Instagram page,” Thursday’s post said.

“We spent the last year streamlining our menu and updating our online ordering systems to make things easier for you. Now you can view all our menus LIVE on our website and order online to pick up at your favourite location.”

Before now, menus were posted every day to The Burnt Tongue’s social media channels, which the team said they will still do but now ordering will be that much easier through their website.

All of The Burnt Tongue locations are open seven days a week from 11 to 8 p.m. To learn more about them, give them a follow on social media.
