Sound of Music Festival returns to Burlington this summer

Burlington’s internationally-renowned Sound of Music Festival will be returning to stages across the city from June 12-19.

The free general admission series of concerts will take place on several stages at Spencer Smith Park.

Among the acts already booked are The Trews, Wide Mouth Mason, Finger Eleven, Bif Naked, Econoline Crush, Texas King, The Blue Stones, Suzie McNeil and The Chain Reaction, Hell Bent Rockers, High Valley, Bobby Wills, Owen Barney, Buck Twenty, Kolton Rhys, Gordie MacKeeman, The Washboard Union, Emily Reid, Jess and Tay, Matt Dusk, Fantastic Negrito, Royal Castles, and Loviet.

And many more acts will be announced over the coming weeks.

Live on the Lake, a special fundraising concert will be held Saturday, June 11, on the stage at Spencer Smith Park. The acts appearing will be Three Days Grace, Tim Hicks, The Beaches, and Saving Abel.

General admission tickets cost $80 and a VIP ticket is going for $140.
