Souk Ramadan Market set to hit Square One in Mississauga

A Souk Ramadan market is set to hit Square One in Mississauga.
The market, which will take place from Mar. 16 to 19, 2023, aims to support local businesses and celebrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of giving back.
During Ramadan, Muslims around the world take part in fasting, prayer, reflection and community spirit.
The event is being hosted by Run the World, a team of three Mississauga-based females that co-own an event and career platform for female entrepreneurs and business leaders in Canada.
In the past, Run the World has also hosted holiday markets at Square One that included a collection of female-owned, Canadian businesses that ranged from emerging and established brands.
Those who attend the upcoming Ramadan market can expect opportunities to shop for festive decor from various vendors along with everyday essentials.
“Get in the spirit by supporting local businesses and stocking up on premium dates, festive decor from our various vendors, and other everyday essentials,” reads Square One’s website.
“The Souk will be hosted from March 16-19, just before Ramadan to give you a taste of some of the best brands to keep in mind throughout the special month.”
The upcoming Ramadan market will be located on level 2, across from H&M.
