There’s a new perk for those who shop at Loblaw-owned stores in Canada that’s set to fully take effect this week.
Loblaw announced in a press release that it has partnered with Uber, bringing Loblaw banners to the Uber Eats app.
Customers can now shop on the app from Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, Fortinos, and more Loblaw-owned stores.

It launched for select locations last week and all participating stores throughout Canada will be available by Wednesday, the release said.
“Welcoming Loblaw and its banners to the Uber Eats platform is helping us expand our in-app selection so that we can offer Canadians more convenience and access to the brands they trust and rely on every day,” said Klaas Knieriem, the head of retail for Uber Eats in Canada.
Consumers can open the Uber Eats app, go to the “grocery” or “health” section, shop from a Loblaw store and get their products delivered.
A “variety of promotions” are being offered to mark the launch of the partnership, Loblaw said.
