Someone has won the huge lottery jackpot in Canada

The winning numbers have been drawn in Saturday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw, where players were hoping to land a $5 million Classic jackpot and a separate $1 million Gold Ball prize.

The Classic draw numbers for July 4, 2026 were 4, 5, 27, 29, 38 and 47, with 35 drawn as the bonus number.

Lottery results show one ticket matched all six numbers to claim the $5 million jackpot.

No ticket matched five numbers plus the bonus number, leaving the second-prize category unclaimed. The prize pool for that category was listed at $186,998.90.

Meanwhile, 64 tickets matched five of six numbers to win $1,226.90 each.

Additional winning categories included:

• 3,958 winners matching four numbers for $79.90
• 73,348 winners matching three numbers for $10
• 46,622 winners matching two numbers plus the bonus number for $5
• 513,919 winners matching two numbers for a free play

In total, the Classic draw produced 123,993 cash winners.

The draw also featured a $1 million Gold Ball prize. One ticket matched the winning Gold Ball selection, 67590890-07, to claim the $1 million prize.

The winning Encore number was 9795363.

Lottery officials have not yet announced where either the $5 million jackpot-winning ticket or the $1 million Gold Ball-winning ticket was sold. Those details are expected to be released once the tickets have been validated.
