Some very noisy Niagara Police training coming to St. Catharines

The Niagara Police are coming to St. Catharines tomorrow (April 27) and things could get loud.

The indoor training will take place in the Gale Cres. and Riordon St. area between 8 am to 2 pm and people in that neighbourhood might hear some alarming sounds.

Nearby residents are being told to expect the sound of simulated gun fire, an increased police presence and the possible smell of smoke.

“There will also be signage in the area. Traffic in the immediate area should be unaffected,” said Niagara Police. “The public and media are asked to stay away from the training sites for their safety and the safety of the officers involved.”
