Soccer fans can play a match coached by pros at Toronto Stadium just days after the FIFA World Cup.
Airbnb has launched a one-of-a-kind experience — to play a match on the official pitch at Toronto Stadium on Friday, July 3.
The FIFA World Cup runs from June 11 to July 19 with six games scheduled at Toronto Stadium. The final game in Toronto is July 2.
Olympic Gold Medalist Kadeisha Buchanan from Brampton and former MLS star Dwayne De Rosario will coach participants (18 years and older, all genders) for the experience, Airbnb said.
Those who sign up will kit up in the locker room, walk the players’ tunnel and take to the pitch where Buchanan and De Rosario will coach participants with warmups and share strategies from years playing at the highest level. The participants will play a full soccer match.
“If you think a FIFA World Cup 26 pitch is impressive from the stands, just wait until you approach it from the tunnel,” the experience description reads. “It’s a feeling we never grow tired of, and one we know you’ll never forget.”

The participants will be playing on the same pitch as national teams, and see areas normally closed to fans.
The experience, on Friday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is listed on Airbnb now for $350 per participant.
