Soca event with live entertainment set to take place in Brampton

A soca event with live entertainment is set to take place in Brampton this weekend.

The event called Soca Bashment will take place on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at Calypso Hut, located at 263 Queen. St. E.

The event will feature seven DJs who will all be spinning soca and reggae music all night long.

These will include Whitebwoy, Menace the DJ, Buzz B, Instyle, Royal Star, SC Soundz and DJ Dev.

Calypso Hut, which often hosts events with live entertainment on weekends, is a Halal restaurant that features West Indian Guyanese-style dishes.

The upcoming soca event will begin at 10:00 p.m. and go on until 3:00 a.m.

While tickets will be available at the door, advance tickets are currently on sale for $15.
