The first real snowfall of the season is likely to impact road conditions in Hamilton, St. Catharines, and the rest of Niagara region.

Two waves of snow are expected this evening (Nov. 27) into Sunday evening.

The first wave will persist into Sunday morning, with snowfall accumulations of 2 cm.

“After a short break another swath of snow is expected Sunday morning persisting through to Sunday evening. An additional 2 to 4 cm of snow is expected,” says Environment Canada.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution, as untreated roads may be icy and slippery. Visibility may also be affected.
