A snowfall warning remains in effect Thursday morning (Feb. 3) for Hamilton as the city can expect an additional 10 to 15 cm of the white stuff.

In the meantime, there are several closures and cancellations on Thursday as residents dig themselves out from under Wednesday’s winter blast.

The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) has closed all schools and administrative buildings on Thursday and buses have been cancelled. Remote and eLearning has also been cancelled for the day.

All schools and child care centres in the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) remain open on Thursday, but buses have been cancelled. Remote and eLearning will continue.

McMaster University remains open and classes are running as scheduled, and the situation is the same at Mohawk College, with campuses open and classes as scheduled.
