Snow and colder temperatures could arrive later this week in the Greater Toronto Area.
Milder weather has dominated the last few days, with a high of 8 C expected and sunny skies on Monday in the GTA, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Tuesday and Wednesday’s high could reach 9 C. There is a 60 per cent chance of rain both days.
But the weather is expected to turn on Wednesday evening when the temperature could drop to a low of -1 C with a 40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers.
There is a 40 per cent chance of snow on Thursday and a 60 per cent chance on Friday. Highs for both days are just above zero and dip to a low of -5 C on Friday night.
Around 1 cm of snow could fall on Thursday and Friday, according to the Weather Network.
More snow could fall on the weekend with 1 to 3 cm expected Saturday night, and another 1 to 3 cm on Sunday, according to the Weather Network.
Temperatures will hover around the freezing mark on the weekend.
