Snoop Dogg Set to Be in Mississauga This Weekend

Youth of Mississauga are about to get a real treat – Snoop Dogg and 2Chainz are two of the many celebrity guests that will be sharing the stage with Peter Tolias as this weekend’s I Can, We Can event.
I Can, We Can is a youth empowerment event happening on Saturday, February 13th at the Mississauga Hershey Centre. With a focus on inspiring youth to set goals and believe in themselves, host Peter Tolias, along with various other guest speakers, will share stories of success and discuss how important hard work and a positive attitude are in regards to going after one’s dreams.
Peter Tolias is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and motivational speaker who grew up in Mississauga. He has worked for years inspiring individuals, as well as organizations, and provides his service to everyone from non-profits and schools to companies of all sizes.
While dealing with hardships at a young age, Tolias had a moment of clarity when he realized he was the only one who could change his life and began his journey to improving his direction and seeking out success. With the help of motivational books and videos he became focused on positive thinking and goal setting. He has used his experiences as a platform to build his career motivating individuals around the world, concentrating on youth and inspiring them to believe that they can achieve anything that they set their sights on.
The I Can, We Can event is a fun and exciting way to reach out to the youth and get them thinking about goal setting and taking the reins on their future. When asked why he decided to hold the event in Mississauga, Tolias said “I have decided to do this event in Mississauga because I grew up in Mississauga and have lived here my whole life….I would love to eventually host events across the province, country, and world, but need to start where it all started for me.”
He will use examples from his book Time to Fire Up to demonstrate how to build self-confidence, and he will also be giving out his goal books and breaking down how to set and keep goals, as well as introducing his new goal setting app. Attendees will also receive branded t-shirts and wristbands.

In addition to being “fired up” by Tolias and his guest speakers, two basketball games will be happening with musical performances in between. One game will see two Peel Youth Basketball teams competing while being coached by the guest artists, and the second will be a celebrity game which will include some of the Peel Police and other community members taking part.
Snoop Dogg and 2Chainz will be featured as celebrity players and coaches, with other celebrity appearances from A$AP Ferg, Wale, Joe Carter, and many more! This is a ticketed event and there are still tickets available at Ticketmaster.ca.
