Children in need of love and a home, as well as underfunded local food banks will be the big winners from this year’s annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookies fundraising campaign in Durham Region.

The popular cookies will be available today (May 1) through May 7 at all Tim Hortons locations in Durham and across Ontario. The price is $1.50 per cookie (up from one dollar in 2022) with all proceeds going to local charities, including Childrens Aid Foundation offices in Pickering, Whitby, Courtice, Bowmanville, Oshawa, Orono, Port Perry and Ajax; as well as Food Banks of Canada offices in Oshawa and Pickering and the Million Dollar Smiles campaign in Newcastle.
