Smash burger joint opening a new location in Mississauga

A new smash burger restaurant is opening a new location in Mississauga.
SMASH, a burgers and steak restaurant, has one location in Brampton and a new location is set to open soon at 3970 Eglinton Ave. W., Unit 4 in Erin Mills.
The restaurant is one of many eateries and shops in the huge Erin Mills Centre plazas.
A smash burger, for those who haven’t tried one yet, is a ground beef patty that’s smashed thin on a hot pan or grill. Foodies say the cooking technique maximizes the crispiness and flavour. The outside of the meat is seared, which locks in juices and flavour.
SMASH offers a good variety on the menu, and the burgers are 100 per cent AAA Canadian halal beef.
There are single, double and triple patty options. And there are creative combinations such as the Bang burger, which tops the smashed patty with fried egg, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, grilled onions, pickles and mustard on a brioche bun.

The Crowdpuller Double tops two beef patties with crusted deep-fried mozzarella cheese, beef bacon, American cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, grilled onions, pickles, smash sauce and garlic mayo on a brioche bun.
Other items on the menu include chicken and steak sandwiches along with onion rings as a side.
