Skate with Olympic gold winning hockey players at the Brampton Mayor’s New Year’s Levee

Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown hosts NHL and gold medal winning National Hockey team players at the upcoming New Year’s Levee.
The 2023 Mayor’s New Year’s Levee starts at Brampton City Hall, 2 Wellington St. W. at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29.
The traditional meet and greet with Mayor Patrick Brown and council members is inside the atrium of City Hall.
Residents can chat with elected officials and enjoy light refreshments from local downtown businesses OccaSSions Treat Parlour and Segovia Coffee Co.
Hear from the Town Crier, have a photo taken with Mayor Brown and enjoy performances by the Tri-service Cadet Band of Brampton and Brampton Concert Band.
The reception continues until 4 p.m.
Then residents can join a community skate at Gage Park, 45 Main St. S. from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The mayor and Canada’s National Hockey Team players Renata Fast and Jamie Lee Rattray, as well as former Toronto Maple Leaf Brad May will be on the ice.
Rattray and Fast helped Canada win gold at the Beijing Olympics in 2022.
There will be light refreshments from local business Concord in the City and a performance by Brampton band Point of Order.
