Six year jail term for Caledon man convicted of Brampton crash that killed three

A man convicted for causing a crash that killed three people in Brampton has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Last January, Paul Manzon, 49 was found guilty of the August 2018 crash that killed 47-year-old Allison Jones, her 7-year-old son Miles and Julia Riccobene, 12, and injured two others including Lily Jones, 12, and Rhonda Gary, a passenger in the car Manzon was driving.
He was convicted of three counts of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm; Manzon was acquitted of criminal negligence.
During his sentencing, the court heard Manzon was driving a Corvette that reportedly reached speeds of more than 163 km/h while traveling in an 80 km/h zone northbound on Hwy. 50.
He struck the vehicle driven southbound by Allison Jones who was attempting to make a left turn onto Nashville Rd.
As well as his jail time, Manzon will be barred from driving for seven years when he is released.
