Six vehicles were damaged in a fire at Pearson Airport in Mississauga on the weekend.

Emergency crews responded to a call for a vehicle fire on level three of the Terminal 3 parking garage at Pearson Airport around midnight on Sunday, March 10, a Pearson Airport spokesperson tells insauga.com.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority Fire and Emergency Services responded along with Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, Peel Regional Police Const. Richard Chin tells insauga.com.

Both fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire but it damaged six vehicles, Const. Chin said.

There were no injuries, the Pearson Airport spokesperson said.

After an inspection, the garage was fully reopened to the public around  1:20 a.m.

The fire was not deemed suspicious and therefore police won’t be investigating criminal investigations, said Const. Chin.
