Six Arrested, Two Pending Arrest for Possession of Massive Amounts of Illegal Drugs

Peel Regional Police have reported that five males and one female have been arrested for possession of thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs. Police are searching for two more suspects.

The Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit have concluded a drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of $186,844.10 worth of illegal drugs and the laying of charges against six individuals.   

Officers and Peel and Halton Police Tactical Units executed three search warrants at two Mississauga residences and one Oakville Residence on Thursday May 25, 2017, at about 6:45 a.m. 

A total of six individuals from Mississauga, Brampton, and Oakville were arrested and charged as a result.

Racheed Ferdinand,  21, male, from Mississauga was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose, Possession Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jaffar Jebbr, 26, male, from Mississauga was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose, Possession Property Obtained by Crime, Production, Fail to Comply with Recognizance, and three counts of Drive Under Suspension.

Darren Gordon, 21, male, from Brampton was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Dayne Bryan, 32, male, from Oakville was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Omar Brooks, 31, male, from Oakville was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose. 

Brooks, Ferdinand, Gordon, Jebbr, and Bryan were held for bail hearings on Thursday May 25, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Samantha Curow, 26, female, from Oakville was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose. Curow was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

A Canada Wide Warrant stands for the arrest of Travis Edwards and Mahmoud Al-Ramahi.

Travis Edwards, 27, male from Mississauga and is wanted for three counts of Possession for the Purpose, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession Property Obtained by Crime.

Mahmoud Al-Ramahi, 26, male, is of no fixed address and is wanted for three counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Possession Property Obtained by Crime, two counts of Possession for the Purpose and Production.
