Single Bowmanville school only driver shortage casualty May 24

The final month of the school year is here and bus operators in Durham Region have finally got a firm handle on the driver shortage problem with just one school across the entire system affected and only five delays today (May 24).

A single route (morning and afternoon) to St. Joseph Catholic school in Bowmanville is the only cancellation on the books for Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario – responsible for school bus service in Clarington and parts east – with three delays also reported.

There are zero cancellations for Durham Student Transportation Services – responsible for the rest of Durham – with only two delays.
