Signs of Life, a collaborative art project that recognizes culture as the “fourth economic pillar,” is continuing to add beauty to the downtown streets of Oshawa with murals painted by renowned artists.
The mural project, which has a stated goal of building a “sense of pride” for Oshawa’s oft-maligned downtown, also aims to provide economic opportunities in the creative sector.
The above mural, spray-painted by Alexander Bacon at 155 Simcoe Street South, was inspired by Oshawa’s famed Peony Festival.
