Metrolinx says riders can expect lengthy delays on the Lakeshore West line after a person was struck by a train.
The transit agency says the incident happened on Wednesday, and trains were stopped at the eastbound West Harbour and Aldershot GO stations.
Metrolinx says to expect “significant delays” of up to half an hour are expected heading both eastbound and westbound.
Peel Regional Police say a pedestrian was struck by a train near Lorne Park Road and Birchview Drive in Mississauga around 5:15 p.m. Only the northern tracks are open, and police say the investigation is on-going.
