Shots fired in Mississauga, say police

There was a police presence in an area of Mississauga where a person was shot on Thursday (Dec. 23).
At 6:28 p.m., Peel Regional Police received a report that shots were fired in the vicinity of Brandon Gate and Goreway drives. One person went to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The extent of their physical injuries was not yet known.
