Shots fired at a Mississauga transit bus

Shots were reportedly fired from a car at a transit bus in Mississauga this afternoon.

Peel Regional Police are investigating a shooting that took place near Thomas Street and Tenth Line West shortly after 3 p.m.

Police say that a black sedan shot at a Mississauga Transit bus.

Investigators say there was damage to the bus including broken windows, but luckily no one was injured.

Police have not indicated how many people were on the bus at the time of the shooting.

Authorities did not observe a firearm or find any casings at the scene leading to speculation that a BB gun may have been used.
