Shots fired at a home in Hamilton for the third time, police say

Gunshots rang out in a Hamilton neighbourhood early Saturday morning and police say it is the latest in a series of incidents targeting the same home.

Officers were called to the area of Elodia Court at about 12:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

Investigators found shell casings outside the residence and multiple bullet holes in the front door. No injuries were reported, and a black SUV was seen fleeing the area following the shooting.

Hamilton Police say there have been previous incidents targeting the same address on Elodia Court and believe they are connected. Officers remain in contact with the occupants of the home as the investigation continues.

In the meantime, there will be an increased police presence in the neighbourhood while investigators continue to gather evidence.
