Shots fired after altercation between police and driver in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are responding to a dangerous situation involving a driver in Mississauga. 

Earlier tonight, an altercation between police and a driver took place in the area of Southampton Drive and Eglinton Avenue West which resulted in a shootout. 

An adult male has been taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, and the vehicle has been taken to a garage.
