Shot fired leads cops to close down Hamilton intersection

A bust Hamilton intersection has been shut down after a brazen daylight shooting in the area.

Police shuttered the intersection of Centennial Pkwy & King St, home to a Husky gas station, a restaurant, Battlefield House park and several apartment buildings.

The shots rang out around 3:50 p.m. When police arrived they found an unspecified number of bullet casings on the ground.

However no victims have yet come forward, so it is unclear if anyone was harmed in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing and Insauga will share more information as it becomes available.
