Shot fired from Mercedes as bicycle unit locate vehicle in Mississauga

Several people are in police custody tonight after shots rang out in downtown Mississauga tonight.

Shots were fired by City Centre Dr and Kariya Gt, home to the Square One mall, late September 16. A white Mercedes tore off away from the scene.

Peel Police officers with the Bicycle Unit tracked the car down and arrested several people when they pulled it over.

No one has been reported as injured by the shots. Police have not described the suspects as yet.

Police received the 911 call about the gunfire at 8:42 p.m. and reported the arrests about 20 minutes later.
