Shooting victim identified in Hamilton

Hamilton Police have identified the 53-year-old man who was pronounced dead, following a shooting incident Friday afternoon.
On Friday (Mar. 24) 2023, shortly before 4 p.m., police were called to the area of Sanford Ave N/Acorn St in Hamilton for a shooting that had happened.
Police say a 53-year-old man was found deceased inside a residence.
The investigations continued and the homicide unit confirmed the deceased man’s identity as Robert Barberstock and that he was killed from a gunshot wound.
Police believe this to be a targeted attack and are looking for three to four men who were seen fleeing from the scene.
Descriptions of the suspects are unknown at this time.
