Shots rang out at a four-way stop along a busy street in Brampton Saturday afternoon, with suspects fleeing the scene shortly after.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that shortly before 3 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired at a vehicle near Gordon Randle Drive and Erintown Crescent.

The suspect(s) are believed to have fled the area in a vehicle, though no descriptions regarding the make, model or colour are available at this time.

Additionally, details about the suspects themselves remain unknown, including the number of individuals involved.

Officials reported that no one was injured as a result of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing and further details will be provided as they become available.
