Shooting reported in Burlington, suspect on loose

There was a heavy police presence in an area of Burlington on Thursday night (Sept. 9) following a reported shooting.
Halton Regional Police Service had a “heavy” presence around Maple Crossing Boulevard as it searches for a suspect who fled on foot.
The HRPS are appealing for witnesses who might have seen the suspected shooter. He is described as a white man who is five-foot-10 with a muscular build, a bald head, and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black shirt, believed to be a tank top, and grey pants.
Any resident who espies someone matching the description should not approach the individual, and should call 911.
