SHOOTING: One person suffers life-threatening injuries in a shooting in Mississauga; QEW ramps closed

A female victim suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting reported early Tuesday morning in Mississauga.
The incident was reported in the Mississauga Road and QEW area just before 4 a.m., Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
The victim was taken to hospital, police said. No further details were provided on the victim or any suspects.
A black Lamborghini with doors open can be seen behind police tape and next to a construction site in photos from the scene.
A construction worker told reporters on scene that the Lamborghini pulled up along Mississauga Road and asked for help for a woman in the vehicle.
As of 7 a.m., the QEW ramps at South Sheridan Way and Mississauga Road were closed for the investigation. Police ask people to avoid the area.

Update: Just after 2 p.m., OPP said the ramps had reopened.
