Repeat offenders hit same business twice, 4 men from Brampton charged

A man has died in hospital this morning after suffering gunshot injuries in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police reported that a man was found at the intersection of Kennedy Road South and Stafford Drive and was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

The victim unfortuntely died a short while after, police say.

With the investigation in its early stages, officers have yet to confirm the circumstances surrounding the incident, including whether the suspect or suspects were known to the victim and if the shooting was targeted.

In addition, officials have not released information on the victim including his name, age, or place of residence.

Kennedy Road South and Stafford Drive is currently closed off and drivers are asked to avoid the area for the time being.

An ETA for when the roadways will reopen to the public has not been provided.
