Shooting investigation in Mississauga prompts pleas from cops for public’s help

A suspect of interest is being sought in connection to a shooting in Mississauga last month and police are seeking the public’s help in locating the wanted man.

On Sunday (Apr. 23) at approximately 1:30 a.m., police say a shooting was reported in the area of Northwest Dr/ Airway Dr in Mississauga.

According to police, no one suffered any physical injuries as a result of the incident.

Investigators are asking residents to assist them in finding the suspect and have provided a description of the man.

The suspect is described as a black man, who could be anywhere between 27 to 30 years-old. He stands five-foot-ten tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident, his hair was sectioned in two braids. He was wearing a mix of gold, green, and white jacket.
