Shooting at Square One parking lot has 3 in custody in Mississauga

A shooting outside of a mall in Mississauga led to three people being taken into custody.

On Feb. 3, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Peel Police responded to a call of a possible shooting outside the area of Square One in Mississauga.

Peel Police say the incident happened in a parking lot area of the mall, with evidence of shell casings found at the scene.

Police told insauga.com that there were no victims or injuries involved in the incident, and that a dark coloured vehicle was also stopped shortly after and the alleged suspects were taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are asking anyone with video footage or additional information to contact Peel Regional Police Division 11 at 905-453-3311.
