Peel Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects involved in an overnight shooting at a Mississauga nightclub, which left one person with multiple gunshot wounds.

On Saturday (Dec. 9) shortly after 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at a nightclub parking lot near Eglinton Avenue East and Dixie Road.

Investigators say, the victim who suffered multiple gunshot wounds was transported a hospital prior to police arrival.

A suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored sedan, was observed fleeing the scene. Images of the vehicle in question or the license plate number are currently unavailable.

According to officers, the victim is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The victims name, age, identity, and place of residence has not been made public.

The number of suspects involved in the incident is unclear, and police have not released images or descriptions of the suspects at this time.

Authorities also have not verified if the shooting was targeted and whether the victim or suspects were known to each other.
