Shooting at Hamilton home leads police to ask for video footage

A Hamilton man had a shot fired at his home last Saturday afternoon, and police are investigating.

At 5 p.m. on July 16, a resident heard a loud bang followed by breaking glass in his residence on Fullerton Ave. in the east end. The responding officers from Hamilton Police confirmed that a shooting incident occurred. No injuries were reported.

The police are asking residents of the affected area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 16 for any suspicious activity and to contact police. Anyone who driving in that area at that time who has dash camera footage should contact investigators.
