Future students can experience Sheridan’s campuses first-hand this weekend at the college’s Spring Open House events in Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville.

The open house provides prospective students with a chance to explore Sheridan’s creative classrooms and specialized labs, apply for free or accept their offer of admission, connect with staff and faculty, and explore comprehensive student support services.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome prospective students and their families/supporters to our campuses,” said Kam Holland, registrar. “Open House is the best way to experience what sets Sheridan apart, learn about programs and admission requirements, discover our financial assistance program and other student supports, and see the unique learning environment we offer.”

The event is being split over two days, both running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can visit the Brampton Davis campus and Mississauga Hazel McCallion campus on Saturday, March 23. Oakville’s Trafalgar Road campus will be open Sunday, March 24.

Holland said Sheridan’s doors are open to anyone interested in studying full-time or part-time, on-campus or remotely.

“Whether you’re pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time or returning to school to further your career, Open House is an opportunity to discover a pathway to your future.”

Prospective students will be able to:

  • Familiarize themselves with the locations through tours of the general campus, residence or program-specific areas
  • Hear directly from faculty about their programs
  • Attend marketplace events to ask questions about student services, gather information about program requirements and student life, and learn more about financial assistance options

While on campus, make sure to visit the Admissions Hub to receive support in submitting applications to Sheridan, including a waiver for the OCAS application fee, a savings of $110.

“Our Open House events showcase the many options and resources students have access to at Sheridan,” said Ryan Teeter, manager, Student Recruitment.

“Not only will students receive a first-hand look at their academic and career interests, but they will also get to meet their support network and discover the many ways we’re here to help them in their academic journey. We’re thrilled to showcase our campuses and diverse and inclusive community.”

Parking is free for all three events.
