Shell casings and ‘loud bangs’ lead to shooting investigation on Hamilton mountain

Police are investigating after bullet shell casings were found outside of a business complex across from Juravinski Hospital Sunday (Aug. 8) morning.

Hamilton police say people in the area heard “loud bangs” at around 4 a.m.

The casings were found at 796 Concession St.

No injuries have been reported in connection to the incident.

Police are treating the investigation as a targeted incident. 

Residents in the area are asked to check surveillance video.
