Seymour-Hannah vaccination clinic in St Catharine shuts down after administering 40 per cent of Niagara vaccinations

For many, it was a sad farewell when the vaccine clinic at Seymour-Hannah Arena in St Catharines finally closed its door yesterday (August 15).

St Catharines MP Chris Bittle applauded the work of the medical professionals and countless volunteers that had worked the clinic, noting, “This was a fundamental part of Niagara’s vaccine plan and the team administered 253,679 doses.”

Those 253,679 jabs represent nearly 40 per cent of the 644,311 vaccinations administered throughout the Niagara Region.

St Catharines residents still looking for their shots can go to the new, smaller clinic being set up in St Catharines General Hospital starting tomorrow (August 17).

The clinic, open 9 am to 4 pm, is walk-in but those who prefer an appointment can book one at:
