Sexual assault reported on the Bruce Trail in Hamilton

A female hiker reported a sexual assault on the Bruce Trail in Hamilton.

Police responded to the report on the Bruce Trail in the area of Wentworth Street South on Sunday (June 25) around 2:40 p.m., Hamilton Police said in a press release.

Hamilton Police are asking witnesses to come forward that may have been on the trail at this time and may have seen the suspect or the sexual assault.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, around 30 years old and approximately five-foot-nine-inches tall. He has a skinny build, buzz cut hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt with a black logo on the front and riding a bike.
