Those who are looking for something fun to do during March Break may be interested to know that Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be hosting a week full of family-friendly activities.

Throughout Mar. 13 to 17, 2023, several Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) activities will be hosted at PAMA.

The activities will include special guests such as the Amazing Corbin and unique exhibitions in PAMA’s historic spaces which will all be included with the price of admission.

Each day during March Break, STEAM instructor-led family fun activities will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

These include opportunities to learn about the science behind magic with mysterious prints, investigate technology with binary code keychains, learn about aerodynamics while engineering a kite, learn unique painting techniques and create a pointillism skyscape and use mathematics to design a colourful robot.

Throughout the week, professional magician the Amazing Corbin will perform a family-friendly magic show and Bubbleology featuring “Miss T the Bubble Queen” will showcase the science and art of the bubble.

A hands-on STEM workshop to discover what happens when science meets art will also be hosted on the last day of March Break.
