Several baby items recalled this week in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and area

Parents in Mississauga and Brampton are encouraged to check the products in their homes after multiple baby items face recalls this week. The items include a beach playpen, an activity push-walker, and a bassinet inlay.
The California Beach Co. Pop N’ Go Playpen
Risk: The California Beach Co. Pop N’ Go Playpen and included shade cover is recalled due to flammability and entrapment hazards. The top accessory shade cover poses a flammability hazard while the top rails on the sides of the playpen can allow a child’s head to pass through, posing an entrapment hazard. The playpen comes in four colours: Cosmic Grey, Midnight Black, Spring Pink, and Sunset Orange.
What you should do: Immediately discontinue use of the Pop ‘N Go playpens as well as the included shade cover. Dispose of the product in the garbage according to municipal waste requirements. Contact California Beach Company by email ([email protected]) or call them at 1-877-795-1772 for a refund.
Asweets brand Wonder & Wise Baby Activity Push Walker

Risk: Wonder & Wise Baby Activity Push Walker is recalled due to strangulation hazard. The interactive walker features an activity panel with a shape sorting puzzle, beads, and other wooden toys. The wheels on the walker have rubber rings on them that can separate from the wheels, posing a potential strangulation hazard to children.

Bugaboo Stardust Play Yard’s Bassinet Inlay
Risk: Bugaboo Stardust Play Yard’s bassinet inlay is recalled due to a potential suffocation hazard. The bassinet inlay is not to be used without the accompanying mattress support. Otherwise the uneven sleeping surface can pose a suffocation hazard if the infant in placed cross-wise in the bassinet.
What you should do: Do not use the bassinet inlay of the Bugaboo Stardust Play Yard without the accompanying mattress support board.
